Recently, at the 2019 GIT International Industry Summit, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that by May 2019, China's 4G base stations had reached 4.37 million, 4G users reached 1.2 billion, and the average monthly Internet access traffic of users reached 7.8G.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) said that as an important communication platform for the global mobile communications industry, it hopes that all parties will continue to accelerate the construction of 5G networks, promote the integrated application of 5G, deepen international cooperation, create an open industrial ecology, accelerate the R&D and industrialization of 5G terminals, networks, platforms, system integration and other fields, promote the coordinated development of the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, deepen international cooperation at multiple levels such as technical standards, frequency, industry, and application, and jointly create a win-win 5G industrial ecology and jointly maintain a peaceful, fair and transparent development environment.
